locomemo is “data-light”: we only process what is truly necessary for gameplay, progress, and multiplayer. No cross-app tracking.

1. Data Controller

The data controller within the meaning of the GDPR is the entity named in the “Contact” section.

2. What data do we process?

3. Photos (Library Import) – Selected Only

If you wish, you can import voluntarily selected photos from your photo library to create game cards. locomemo does not automatically access your media library.

4. Multiplayer & Transmission of Images

If you participate in a multiplayer game, it may be necessary to transmit selected content (e.g. moves, board status, and optionally images you selected) to other players.

Images are only transmitted if you actively participate in a multiplayer game and you have selected these images for the game. Transmission takes place solely to display the shared game material.

5. Storage & Deletion

We store data only for as long as necessary for the purposes stated.

User images are stored only temporarily for the game session and are deleted afterwards.

6. Legal Bases

Processing is carried out in particular on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract / provision of the game) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in security and operation). Consents (e.g. photo access) are obtained via iOS/Android system dialogs.

7. No Disclosure, No Tracking

We do not sell data. There is no tracking across apps or websites. External service providers (e.g. hosting) only receive data insofar as this is necessary for operation and is safeguarded by appropriate data processing agreements (DPAs).

8. Your Rights

You have rights to access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Please send requests to the contact address.

9. Changes

We may update this privacy policy, e.g. in the event of new features or legal changes.
